Manual Handling involves any activity that requires the use of bodily force or hand whilst transporting or supporting loads. This includes lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving. The Load can be inanimate, or a person or animal.
This course is designed to educate and equip learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform manual handling tasks safely and aims to reduce the risk of injury and ill health in the workplace.
This course is tailored specifically to the construction industry, promoting safe manual handling techniques for the sector.
On successful completion of this course, you willbe awarded the HABC Level 2 Principles of Manual Handling certificate and an Alpha accredited construction bolt on certificate.
